Sports Leaders

Our Sport Leaders are pupils who take an active lead in promoting participation in sport and enjoying healthy lifestyles. They can be found organising and coaching activities at break times and Active 15 sessions, as well as helping to coordinate the Travel Tracker walk to school initiative and the House competition.

Travel Tracker - Strider visit

Our Sport Leaders were treated to a visit from the Travel Tracker mascot, Strider, whilst being trained as Travel Tracker WOW Ambassadors. Being an Ambassador means that the pupils will be responsible for using the Travel Tracker website on a daily basis to record the modes of transport that their classmates use on their journeys to school. Pupils travelling at least part of their journey using a healthy method (such as walking, scootering or cycling) will earn credits towards earning the Travel Tracker WOW badge for that month. Class 4DS are currently the school champions for the most healthy journeys but all could change next month!
